God does not do things to make us look good, but because his will is that none should perish. “I prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness,” Deuteronomy 9:26 The only one that is good is God!
